Tennessee History Grades 3-5. I teach this class in cycles s there is too much history in Tennessee to cover in detail in just a short school year. Students will be starting with Native American history specific to TN. We will be learning about TN as a territory and moving onto the growth and progress of the state once it joined the Union. Finally moving to modern history including the Civil Rights Movement and our State as it is today. We will supplement the class with research presentations and optional field trips to get a more hands-on learning experience as we go through the year.
Art History Grades 3-5 Dive into the history of art with me as we study famous artists and art movements of the world! We will start with prehistoric cave art and continue our journey through the ages. This will not be a technical class but a fun hands on class with a different art projects pertaining to who we are studying each week. I can’t wait to take this artful adventure with you as we learn about the big contributions to art history.
